EXPERINCE
Dennis Rookard has been a well respected freelance journalist and broadcaster for more then twenty five years, producing both writen and audio copy for a wide range of local and national and international broadcasting organisations. He has also provided copy for for a wide range of local newspapers and national magazines. Thoughout this time, he has built up a reputation as a skilled location and studio audio recordist.

Brentwood Talking Newspaper for the Blind. Founding committee member , Studio design, Crew training, now act as studio manager. 1971-1999
Eastward Hospital Television. Chairman, and now Secretary. 1986-1999.

NOTE............

Brentwood Talking Newspaper for the blind publishes a sixty minute weekly audio local newspaper with an entirely voluntary staff for some 350 local impaired sighted, along with a monthly ninety minutes arts & cultural magazine.

Eastward Hospital Television with an entirely voluntary staff produces a BI-monthly sixty minute video magazine for distribution in six local hospitals and some 65 local old peoples nursing and retirement homes. Copies are also made available to the public via local libraries, sent to Germany to the twin town of Brentwood as an aid to teach English. Copies are also placed in the County Archives of the Essex Public Records Office.
